Hey Beauties!

We're back with another mainstream look of new fall collections compared to your favorite BLUSH Lacquers nail polishes. This edition features China Glaze's new Deserted collection for fall 2023. When doing research for this post, I was a little surprised with this collection. It doesn't have your typical fall shades, but is really a lot of fun. Let's take a look!

*Short disclaimer, I do not own any of the China Glaze polishes and cannot compare them directly, I'm only going off of images.

China Glaze Bring The Heat vs. BLUSH Lacquers Blazing Bonfire

China Glaze Bring The Heat vs. BLUSH Lacquers Blazing Bonfire Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Bring The Heat is described as a metallic red-orange nail polish, which sounds absolutely gorgeous to me! As a comparison, I picked Blazing Bonfire which is a perfect pumpkin orange and while it may not be as fiery as Bring The Heat, it does include a scattering of metallic bronze flakes to really light up your nails.

China Glaze Alpenglow vs. BLUSH Lacquers Besame

China Glaze Alpenglow vs. BLUSH Lacques Besame Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Alpenglow is described as a pearlescent raspberry magenta nail polish. Magenta is hot this year (it's Pantone's color of the year, by the way) and we have a few different versions of magenta nail polishes. I think that the closest in base color is our newest one, Besame. But feel free to also consider Oh La-Laguna and Plastic Hearts.

China Glaze Dunescape Sand vs. BLUSH Lacquers Caramel Candy Corn

China Glaze Dunescape vs. BLUSH Lacquers Caramel Candy Corn Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Dunescape Sand is described as a neutral gold-beige with a gold shimmer and I have to say, that I'm really proud of this comparison pick. Caramel Candy Corn, I think, is nearly identical in base color and still has a golden element. No, it's not a shimmer, but the bronze flakes are an excellent substitute!

China Glaze Night Dunes vs. BLUSH Lacquers Epiphany

China Glaze Night Dunes vs. BLUSH Lacquers Epiphany Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Night Dunes is described as an indigo blue with a blue shimmer. And, again, I think our BLUSH pick, Epiphany is pretty spot on! The base colors seem pretty similar. Night Dunes has a shimmer, but you can't go wrong with Epiphany's luxurious crushed gold metallic flakes.

China Glaze Sky of Lavender vs. BLUSH Lacquers Moonlit

China Glaze Sky Of Lavender vs. BLUSH Lacquers Moonlit Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Sky of Lavender is described as a lilac purple with a silvery lavender shimmer. My BLUSH pick is Moonlit, a dusty lilac with tones of holographic sparkle and even a shifting shimmer. I may be biased, but I think Moonlit packs a lot more punch for it's bottle! And if you want something slightly darker, try Moonlit's sister shade, Bedtime Story.

China Glaze Twilight Desert vs. BLUSH Lacquers Sweet Dreams

China Glaze Twilight Desert vs. BLUSH Lacquers Sweet Dreams Nail Polish Comparison

China Glaze Twilight Desert is described as a dark magenta purple with iridescent lavender shimmer. And we've got Sweet Dreams back for a second time! We presviously compared it to OPI's Feelin' Libra-ted, but I think this one is a far better and more accurate comparison. The purple bases seem to be more closely related as well as the overall feel of the nail polish itself.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how well these comparisons and dupes turned out! Again, I've not seen the China Glaze nail polishes in person, but I think I've got some pretty close dupes in the running. What do you think? Would you wear these comparison shades or buy the China Glaze shades?
